Report on International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement curricula options – Dr. Karen Goeller, Dr. Stacy Mason, and Ms. Holly Pies Information will be presented about advanced curriculum at the high school level. Both International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement curricula options will be shared.

Second Reading of the Registered Sex Offenders Policy – Mr. Ray Azar

Recognizing that the safety and welfare of students is of paramount importance, the Vigo County School Board of School Trustees hereby declares that, except in limited circumstances, the VCSC will not permit registered sex offenders to be on school, VCSC property. 2. Second Reading of the Student Rights and Responsibilities Policy – Mr. Ray Azar This policy is intended, in general terms, to describe some of the rights and responsibilities of students in the Vigo County School Corporation and to set forth appropriate regulations governing student behavior.

3. Second Reading of the School Day – Students Policy – Mr. Ray Azar The administration of the Vigo County School Corporation shall establish school hours which are in conformity with state rules and shall establish starting and closing times to facilitate the educational needs of students. F.

New Business 1. Personnel Report – Mr. Mick Newport Board Approval Is Requested 2. School Year Meal Prices and Adult Meal Prices – Mr. Tom Lentes The Food Services Department is requesting a price increase to meet the requirements of The Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 & Child Nutrition and WIC Reauthorization. Section 205 “Equity in School Meal Pricing.” Board Approval Is Requested 3. Elementary, Middle and High School Handbooks – Dr. Stacy Mason and Dr. Christi Fenton Dr. Stacy Mason and Dr. Christi Fenton, Directors of Secondary and Elementary education respectively, have reviewed the Elementary, Middle and High School Student Handbooks and have determined that they contain the necessary and appropriate information. Board Approval Is Requested 4. Multi-Functional Devices and Print Management Bid – Mr. Jerry Hargis Bids were received and opened on May 3, 2016 by Jay Etling and Jerry Hargis. The bids received have been reviewed by a committee consisting of Donna Wilson, Jerry Hargis and Jay Etling. It is the committee’s recommendation that we reject all bids and rebid due to a change in specifications. Board Approval Is Requested
