- ¹All incoming students required to enroll in FYS 100 (freshmen) or FYS 300 (transfers). - Humanities & Fine Arts: Select one: Intro, appreciation, or history of art, music, or theater. - Perspectives on Society: Select one: GEO 201; PSC 201; SOC 101; ECO 210/211. - Personal Development: Select one: SHS 360; CEL 300; CIS 205; FCS 215/270/325/343; SWO 101/300; Foreign Language 101 OR select two: PER 100/101 level activity. Option to enroll in SSC 469/470/499 in fall or spring of senior year. Option to enroll in CRJ 480 in fall or spring of senior year. - SPECIAL DEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Foreign language: One language may be satisfied with 6 hrs at 200-level if 2 years of language is completed in high school. 9 hours if Foreign Language 101 completed to meet general ed requirement for Personal Development. Must be in same language. - SSC 480 PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE IN THE SOCIAL SCIENCES: Work with approved social or economic organization for 240 hours (student consults with academic advisor in choice of organization and develops program of engagement and pertinent requirements).
