BXB conference system is installed and being used in the highest government institution in Penghu, Taiwan - Penghu County Council Chamber. It’s the most important council-chamber in Penghu, where many of the major developments are decided there. Therefore, choosing a stable system for the room is a very significant issue. BXB conference system is chosen this time; it includes conference microphone system, voting system, image-tracking system and digital storage system. The system has taken environmental impact, userfriendliness and future maintenance into account. The project is a little more complicated since it only replaced some of the equipments; while others were continue using, such as amplifier, mixer, some other audio equipment and the pipeline.
Sound processing is a big task in this project. The chamber itself is a circular dome, feedback could happen very easily. So we took out the two large speakers to prevent feedback. Furthermore, 45CM microphone is replaced by 70CM double gooseneck microphone, so the senators don’t have to bend anymore, they can talk easily no matter they’re standing or sitting. The humid weather in Penghu is also considered, BXB two - way weatherproof high fidelity loudspeakers are used to extend product life span and prevent feedback at the same time. Through the professional configuration, it makes the councils more efficient. The flexibility and easy-to-install feature of BXB FCS system exactly meets the limit of replacing original pipeline. Microphone power is supplied by the main controller instead of external power supplier. Cat.5e international isolated transmission cable is applied, it’s very easy to install, so that we could finish the construction in 10 days. The international standard cable also facilitates flexible future maintenance. In order to control the councils easily, BXB graphical control software is also added. Controlling items and seat arrangement （can be edited base on actual location）can be displayed on the screen; operator can easily click on the microphone icon to turn/off. What’s more, edit and operate the software is accessible to everyone, making council management more convenient and practical. The key person of this project – Mr. Chen, Manager of BJC.
