2.04 Orientation of the Board of Trustees Policy: It is the policy of Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. that all incoming Board of Trustees members shall follow a process to quickly gain a thorough understanding of all aspects of the organization. Procedure: New Board of Trustee members shall meet with the CEO/President and/or member of the Executive Committee at which time an orientation to Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. will be conducted to include the following: • Letter of Introduction • Trustee Orientation Acknowledgement Form (requires signature) • Mission and Vision Statements • History of Goodwill Industries and Licking/Knox Goodwill Industries, Inc. • Trustee Listing • Meeting Dates • Goodwill Acronyms/Definitions • Agency Affiliations • Bylaws • Conflict of Interest (requires signature) • Code of Ethics (requires signature) • Table of Organization and Overview • Programs and Services • Overview of Friends of Citizens with Disabilities, Inc. • Strategic Plan • Budget • Current Financial Report • Current Auditor’s Report • Director and Officers insurance • CARF Certification Inserts • Grapevine Newsletter • Annual Report • Employee Handbook Upon completion of the orientation, the new Board of Trustee member will be required to complete an "Acknowledgment of Trustee Orientation" form, which will be placed on file for Goodwill Industries International, Inc. certification audit purposes.
