NYLT is a 6-day experience that takes place over a full week or 2 weekends. Each course will instruct participants in advanced leadership skills based on the National BSA Syllabus and the Youth Leadership Training Continuum. NYLT is a combination of classroom and practical “Hands on” exercises. The course is taught by youth-led staff, modeling the best in leadership skills using the teaching E.D.G.E. The course demonstrates vision based team building and conflict resolution skills using a wide variety of fun yet challenging activities. Are you at least 13 years old?

Each course can accommodate up to 48 youth. To ensure the best experience, a maximum of 8 youth, (per course), from one Unit is suggested. Find out what it means to BE, to KNOW, and to DO leadership skills for life! The 2019 fee for all courses is $200, payable to the Simon Kenton Council and includes all food and program materials. There is a $50 non-refundable deposit required at the time of registration. Scholarships and financial assistance options are available.
