Pupil Activation Validation (PAV) certification classes

Wednesday, Nov. 6 • 6 p.m.–9 p.m. at Fairfield Medical Center,

Mid-Level, Delta Classroom 401 N. Ewing St. • Lancaster, OH 43130 The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) and the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) mandates all parties who supervise, direct or coach a student activity program to have a Pupil Activity Validation (PAV) certificate. Participants will learn how to assess life threatening and non-life threatening injuries, as well as basic injury management and prevention. CPR Certification will be provided. Other general adolescent health and safety issues will also be covered such as: first aid, sudden cardiac arrest and concussion training.

*FMC Sports Medicine Affiliates will receive PAV and CPR certification free of charge. Non-affiliates will be charged a $20 fee at time of event.
