2017 August Orientation Transfer, International, & First Year Students The following orientation program has been organized to introduce you to your new community and answer any questions you may have about your transition to Millsaps College. Orientation | Move-In Day, Friday, Aug. 18 

Receive your ID and Parking Decal, along with keys to your room if you are living on campus o Time: 9 a.m. – Noon o Location: New South Residence Hall for IDs and decals. Please refer to your housing letter for your check-in to housing!



ITS Device Setup o Time: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. o Location: Olin Hall Atrium



Welcome to Millsaps from Dean Katz, Vice President of Student Life and Dean of Students o Time: 2 p.m. o Location: Academic Complex Room 215

Getting Involved on Campus Presentation with the Foundations Directors o Time: 3:30 p.m. o Location: Academic Complex Room 215

Welcome Week | Aug. 18 – Aug. 25  All first year students are registered for Foundations classes! All first year students are required to attend ALL Welcome Week events to receive credit for Foundations. Please refer to the Welcome Weekend 2017 schedule, and Foundations Leaders.  Transfer students will be assigned to the Foundations Directors and given the option to attend certain Welcome Weekend 2017 events—your Foundations Directors will let you know the mandatory events.
