COVENANT, PROCEDURES, AND SIGNATURE FORM Confirmation Retreat to Camp Jewell, Colebrook, CT Covenant: We covenant with God and one another to: 1) Be open to the presence of God, and to step out and risk in an effort to grow in faith. 2) Reach out to welcome new people, make new friends, strengthen old relationships, treat all people with respect, and exclude no one. 3) 1 - = 2 +’s 4) Respect others’ rights and agree to rules as set by leaders; 5) Respect community, campus, and personal property, 6) Fully participate in all aspects of the program, 7) No cell phone or electronic device use during community and program times. 8) If an advisor determines that an electronic device has become a distraction, it will be taken away and returned at the end of the weekend. 9) Not use drugs, alcohol, or tobacco, to refrain from any sexual activity, and to refrain from any activity that may interfere with the program. Procedure: If rules 1 through 8 are broken, the procedure is as follows: 1) An adult leader will talk one-on-one with the student who violated the rule. 2) If the violation occurs again, an adult leader along with Kevin will talk with the student who violated the rule. 3) If the violation occurs a third time, a call home will be made and a meeting will be setup with Kevin and parents upon return. If rule 9 is broken, the procedure is as follows: 1) A call home will be made requesting parents to come and pick up the student. A meeting will be set up with Kevin and parents first thing the following week.
