FACILITY REPAIRS FOR OFFICE & WAREHOUSE SPACE ADDENDUM Number 2 dated July 26, 2016 The Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District herewith issues this Addendum No.2 to the above reference Invitation for Bid. 23. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE The contractor shall complete the facility repairs under this IFB not later than October 14, 2016 August 31, 2016 after notice to proceed pursuant to General Condition section. I. SCOPE OF WORK This Scope-of-Work (SOW) covers construction services to provide ready office and warehouse space in the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District-owned property at 37650 Sycamore Street, Newark, CA 94560. The property consists of warehouse space, a small portion of office space and yard. The focus of this work will be the approximate 6510 square feet of built-out office/warehouse space within the concrete tilt-up warehouse, specifically the portion known as Area #5 directly behind the space facing Sycamore Street. The contractor is to inspect the existing condition of the property and provide a detailed scope of work and cost to complete all needed repairs and improvements to the space to bring it back to a tenable condition, including interior mechanical, electrical and plumbing as outlined. Services to be provided

This SOW covers construction services to repair/refurbish a 6,510 sf office/warehouse suite. A schematic drawing is included as part of the scope showing exterior dimensions, the location of interior walls, doors, restroom, identified improvements, etc. All dimensions are approximate with tolerances of +/- 1 foot and should be field verified for planning and pricing purposes. These sketches shall be used to show locations of identified repairs. The following tasks are proposed for this SOW: Task 1 – ELECTRICAL (C-10): Replace any existing damaged/non-functional office lights, outlets, switches as needed to restore office/warehouse to original functioning condition. Install two new sub-panels, necessary junction boxes, refeed electrical supply to offices, restroom, HVAC, and warehouse to replace all vandalized wiring components. Install (1) 3.5 ton rooftop HVAC unit & attach new sheetmetal cap over existing open curb. Dispose of existing HVAC unit. Task 2 – GENERAL BUILDING CONTRACTOR (B): Replace damaged drywall in offices, restroom, & warehouse. Apply texture to patches to match, if any. Install Fiber-Reinforced Plastic on restroom walls to 4 feet and one sheet behind utility sink. Install grab bars, mirror, dispensers (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, seat covers), wall & restroom door signage. Patch (1) 20” circular hole in exterior concrete wall with concrete fill (reinforced). Paint office and restroom walls, ceilings, and doors with two coats of white enamel. Prime and paint walls in warehouse. Remove and replace plywood in mezzanine area above offices where damaged or missing. Offices, warehouse, and restroom facilities must be ADA Compliant. Task 3 – PLUMBING (C-36): Install rough and finish plumbing to warehouse restroom including toilet, sink, faucet, 6-gallon water heater, and utility sink with faucet (to be located outside of restroom). Task 4 – FLOORING (C-15): Remove and replace floor covering in offices with indoor/outdoor carpet and coved vinyl in restroom. Clean and seal concrete warehouse floor. Task 5- WINDOWS (C-61): Install new glass at exterior wall window above offices. B. Deliverables Meeting with AC Transit to schedule and to prioritize the list of repairs and confirm material orders after contract is awarded. Page 2 of 3
