Easter is celebrated at the same time as the Jewish Passover. On Good Friday we remember the death of Jesus Christ on the cross & on Easter Sunday we celebrate His resurrection (rising from the dead on the third day). Through his death, burial, & resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin & through repentance & faith in Him we receive forgiveness of sins & eternal life.

Three Important Dates for Early April 1. SUNDAY APRIL 3 will be the start of Pastor Abri’s ministry at MBCC. Ps Abri will preach at both services in the morning & following a lunch for staff & church ministry leaders there will be an Induction Service for Ps Abri at 2pm. Ps Brent Liebezeit, President of Christian Churches New Zealand will be with us for the lunch & the Induction Service. Also hoping to attend is Aaron Ironside of Rhema Media & pastor of Harvest Christian Church in Henderson.

The Brancken Family Arriving

我们是一个多元文化的教会,欢迎中国朋友参加. どの国の方も大歓迎します。 If this is your first time worshipping with us, please go to the Welcome Corner after the service. We have a small gift for you & will gladly answer your questions about our church. If you would like to hear a Chinese or Japanese translation, please ask for a headset.

A Word from the Pastor I am most grateful to Warren for preaching for us today. His message reminds us of what Jesus accomplished when He died on the cross. Having just moved house it has been a busy week for Elizabeth & me. We look forward now to a great Easter of special services. We are also looking forward to welcoming the Brancken family. As you will see on the back of the bulletin, Ps Abri officially starts his ministry with us at the beginning of April. God bless,

Peter
