18th. January 2015 Induction of Wendy Liu Chinese Pastoral Care Worker, Wendy (Wen Hua) Liu was officially inducted last Sunday. Wendy previously served in the New Hope Chinese Church for 20 years. We are deeply grateful to the Lord for sending Wendy to us and know the Father will Bless her as she starts her new ministry here at MBCC. Wendy already leads two MBCC Life Groups (Red Beach & Silverdale). She also plays a major role in organizing large inter-church outreach events sponsored by Chinese Churches. Welcome onto our staff team, Wendy! We are truly blessed to have you.

As believers in Christ this is what we are called to do. For many Christians they come to faith, but never graduate to taking that faith to others. I am excited that most of the people baptised last week are going back to China in the very near future. How exciting that they will have opportunities to tell others about Jesus. The Apostle Paul describes believers as living epistles (2 Corinthians 3:2). Our lives are to be a testimony, both though what we say and what we do, testifying that Christ is alive in us, through the way we live. Please pray for our sisters who are literally going out into the world. May they know that Christ has written His name upon their hearts, they belong to Him. And to our sisters who are going, please pray for us. That we who are staying here in NZ may look for opportunities to tell others about Christ, right here in Mairangi Bay. Finally remember none of us go alone, for we have Christ living inside us and we are empowered by the Holy Spirit, fulfilling Gods promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us.( Deuteronomy 31:6)
