Green Point Christian College Netball Club Umpiring 2014 Our Netball Club cannot function without our hard working umpires! For every team that we register, we need to provide an umpire. If you are over 13 and would like to umpire netball for our club, please contact the Umpire Convenor. Our club and the GNA provides an excellent, caring and supervised training program for all interested and inspiring umpires - players or parents. You will provided with an Umpire Rule Book – study it hard and learn the rules  I will contact you in regards to training. In the meantime, you must complete an online exam via the AANA website – www.netball.asn.au. You may sit this as many times as you need! Once you have passed the exam (70%), please print out 2 copies – one for me for our club records and one for the GNA Umpire Convenor. There is a well programmed level of development for all our umpires, starting with trainees, progressing to Provisionals, White Awards, Gosford Awards, National levels and Representative programs. There is also a payment level for all umpires that the club provides. I receive an Allocation Sheet from GNA on the weekend prior to play and will roster umpires to appropriate games for the weekend coming. That umpire draw will be emailed by me to all umpires to confirm your allocations for that weekend. I will send this Tuesday and you will need to confirm with me by Thursday.

Umpiring is a great sport and life skill to learn and we aim to make it as fun and stress free as we can - it increases your fitness level AND improves your game skill and netball knowledge along the way! Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns or enquiries. Rebecca Brown - Umpire Convenor 0413 889 573
