The Port of Calcite Collaborative (PCC) is a Great Lakes Commerce and Service Port. This public-private deep water port provides space and equipment to facilitate shipping activities as well as vessel services.

Employee Corner– Wes Vieau Wes joined the Moran Family of Associates in May of 2012. Wes grew up in Cheboygan, Michigan in a great family with a hard work ethic. In February of 2009 Wes joined the National Guard and plays an active role in serving his country. Here in Northern Michigan, Wes enjoys hanging out with his family and friends. Moran Iron Works has benefited from the PMBC program by being a supplier to both DTE & Consumers Energy. “For us at MIW what is important is the number of citizens we have put to work with the help of this initiative”, said Thomas Moran (President MIW). In 2013 “Pure Michigan Business Connect” added a major automotive company, a University and two large financial institutions’ to join in with the cognitive action needed to move Michigan forward.
