Hunt Hill is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit nature sanctuary supported by donations, memberships, program attendance and grants. Donated to National Audubon in the 1950’s and now run locally by a dedicated group of volunteers known as the Friends of Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary (FOHHAS). With a free lease of the land from Audubon, FOHHAS has been managing the property since the 1980’s with an emphasis on nature programs and camps for all ages. As a nature sanctuary we encourage a ‘leave no trace’ approach to exploring and appreciating the natural world.
