APPLICATION Enclosed aperture, lensed metal halide recessed downlight for medium to high ceiling applications where long life and energy efficient HID lamp sources are desired. • Encapsulated dual tap 120/277V ballast for quiet operation. • Inline connectors for quick installation. • Ballast secured by trunk latch for easy one-handed release and removal. • Specular Alzak® reflectors and glass lens for maximum efficiency. • Precision die-stamped galvanel plaster frame. • ETL listed for Wet Location use under covered ceiling and Through Branch Circuit Wiring. • Mounting frame accommodates ceiling material up to 1" thick.
PRODUCT DATA • REFLECTOR: Heavy gauge aluminum reflector with Alzak finish and self trimming flange. Regressed fresnel or prismatic lens features a choice of self flanged splay or baffle. • HOUSING: 18 gauge electrozinc plated steel features a one-inch plaster flange and adjustable height C-channel mounting brackets which accept a variety of optional hanger bars (see Accessories Section). • BALLAST MODULE: Ballast module features a 120/277 VAC input, high power factor, encapsulated ballast for quiet operation. Ballast module features inline connectors for quick installation in housing after frame in is complete. • JUNCTION BOX: Junction box has easy access covers, prewired with grounding pigtail, listed for through branch circuit wiring, 4 in/4 out, pryout KO's (2) 1/2", (2) 3/4". • SOCKET HOUSING – Die formed aluminum socket cup attaches to trim. Complete with 4 K.V. pulse rated porcelain medium base socket, nickel plated copper screw shell and "SF-2" 200°C wire, for vertically mounted lamp. Standard medium base socket for use with pulse start, enclosed aperture rated lamp.
