My name is Maria, and today I want to tell y'all about the best gift I received for Christmas. When I was eight years old, my dad was a soldier in the army. I didn't see him for a very long time, because he was busy in other countries. When I visited Santa Claus that year, I told him my wishes. I wanted a horse, a computer, tickets to a One Direction concert. But I especially wanted my dad. Santa Claus listened to me, and told me that if I were a good girl, I would receive something good for Christmas. In the morning on Christmas day, I woke up very excited. And when I entered the kitchen, there was my dad! He got home when I was sleeping. My dad was the best gift I received for Christmas.
