We invite your infants and toddlers (up to pre-K) to our Nurseries where we have loving staff to care for them. Children’s Bulletins and crayons are available on the Welcome Table. Junior Church is for children in Pre K - 4th grade, with age appropriate Bible lessons and activities. It begins midway through the Worship Service in the CE Wing. Please feel free to stand or be seated while singing. Large print song sheets are on the Welcome Table. Please see an usher if you are in need of a Large Print Bible or a Hearing Assist Device. Coffee and tea are available in the Hall of Missions following Sunday School and after the Worship Service.

Benevolence Offering The Diaconate is collecting a special offering today. It will be used for giving food or gas gift cards to those with an emergency need. Please put any donations in the Diaconate envelopes found in the pews and place them in the offering plates.

Gluten Free Communion Gluten-free bread can be found the center of the Communion Tray.

Connect & Grow Getting Acquainted Luncheon - TODAY! If you are a new attendee or visitor, we would like to invite you and your family to join us for a casual luncheon after today’s Worship Service. The Staff and Church Elders at EGCC are excited that you have been joining us and we look forward to getting to know you better. There will be an opportunity for us to present our ministries and to answer any questions that you may have about our church.

Call to Meeting A Congregational Corporation meeting for East Glenville Community Church, Inc. will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 11:45am to conduct the following items of business: 

To hear an initial proposal to amend the EGCC Constitution to clarify the EGCC Statement of Faith regarding the definition of marriage.



To consider a proposal to forgive the remaining loan balance for our former Director of Youth Ministries, Joe Kenyon.



To elect Mary Anne Austin to the office of Clerk.

Men’s Breakfast We will be hosting a Men's Breakfast on Saturday morning, November 7th. Breakfast will be served promptly at 8:30am. Our guest speaker has served in various chaplain-based responsibilities for Major League Baseball since 1997 and he has been a regular speaker for Iron Sharpens Iron.

Operation Christmas Child (www.samaritanspurse.org) The Community Outreach Team is sponsoring Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes again this year. The Boxes are now available in the Foyer and will need to be back to church by Sunday, November 15th. A donation of just $7 per box makes it possible for each gift to be delivered.

Ingathering The Diaconate is sponsoring our Annual Food Drive for needy individuals, families, and the local food bank. We will be collecting non-perishable items on November 8th,15th and 22nd. Please bring your items to the communion table as an offering during the service after the ushers pass your row. Thank you for your generous giving.

Christmas Musical Choir rehearsals for the Christmas Musical continue on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 - 6:00pm in the Sanctuary. All in grade 8 and older are invited to join us. We'd love to see you today! See Sandie with any questions.

We'll be meeting at the Levy's house at 4:00pm to help them stack firewood. Bring gloves and good work clothing as we will be outside. Dinner will be provided. Youth Group will then take place at the Levy's house (1 Englehart Dr) and will run its normal 6:308:30 time.

All Church Work Day Join us for our Fall Work Day on Saturday, November 14th, 9am12pm, followed by a pizza lunch. There will be many things to do that day and all are welcome to come and lend a hand. The best part of that day may be the fellowship you can enjoy while raking, trimming, sweeping, washing, cleaning or having a cup of coffee!
