DualVee® Wheels & Track From the Very First Production Model to Today’s Hi-Tech Machines, DualVee Has Been There All the Way! Challenge With metal shavings flying everywhere during production and the problem intensifying with the addition of cutting fluids, allowing shavings to stick to all surfaces, Haas Machine Tools needed the DualVee patented “V” shaped wheel and track to offer a smooth rolling of their doors. Previous solutions did not allow for the “wiping” action of the DualVee Wheel. Application Description Using DualVee wheels and Bishop-Wisecarver's ability to offer assorted materials and platings on the track, Haas uses a size 3 wheel and track to handle the rigors of doors opening many times daily in an extremely harsh environment. With easy adjustment, BishopWisecarver's elliptically shaped, off-the-shelf bushings provide proper fit and installation. Fit-up time is minimized as well. Additionally, because of the load capabilities and rigidity of DualVee Linear Motion, the same size 3 wheel and track system is used in the vertical mounting of the tool changer.
