$25.00 p.p. ▪ Bus departs 9:00 a.m. 3rd parking lot Oct 26 (Thursday): Cullen Landry and the Midnight Street ▪ Come in costume for the Halloween R&B party with Cullen Landry ▪ Inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 1998, Cullen has shared the bandstand with Bobby Mitchell, Eddie Bo, Eddie Roth, Professor Longhair, Al “Carnival Time” Johnson and many others ▪ His goal is to preserve our New Orleans musical heritage embodied in the local music of the 1950’s & 1960’s ▪ Food and beverages will be available for purchase ▪

Lakefront Airport ▪ highlights the many vehicles, including PT Boats, tanks, & jeeps, and the contributions that led to victory ▪ honors the legacy of the WWII generation ▪ flying demonstrations, dockside tours on the PT-305, Victory Parade, living history enactment, photo ops, live entertainment, fashion show ▪ Lunch on your own at the Festival - bring cash for Food Truck Rally ▪

: Nov 5 (Sunday) Matinee Performance – Caroline, or Change ▪ Set in 1963 Louisiana, a provocative story of political, social, and pocket change ▪ Caroline is a single African American mother working for a white family in Lake Charles LA ▪ a tender friendship develops between Caroline and the family’s young son ▪ the boy’s stepmother, unable to give Caroline a raise, tells her she may keep any money the boy leaves in his pockets ▪ Caroline hates to take money from a child, but her own children desperately need food, & clothes ▪ outside of the laundry room, some of the greatest social advancements the country has seen are being set in motion, and change is knocking on the door ▪ this is a self-drive event at the Westwego Performing Arts Theater, 177 Sala Ave, Westwego, LA ▪ doors open 1:30 p.m. ▪ performance 2:00 p.m. (repeat from Sept Newsletter)
