Sultan Swoosh is an all-ages tournament that takes place at the corner of First and Main Street, near Sultan’s River Park. The tournament kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017, with check-in available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. on the morning of the event. The City of Sultan thanks its team of 50 dedicated volunteers, who put in a total of 162 hours cleaning up Main Street and U.S. 2 on Saturday, June 10th. “We are so lucky to live in a city filled with engaged communitymembers,” said Sultan Mayor Carolyn Eslick. “Main Street looks amazing with its freshly-painted parking stalls, manicured flower beds and swept sidewalks, and it is all thanks to this dedicated group of community advocates.”

Thanks to the Sultan VFW Post 2554 Auxiliary for the patriotic paint job! The fire hydrant painting project was spearheaded by Auxiliary members Christina Sivewright and June Taylor, who completed the job in early June with help from Post 2554 member Dave Sivewright. Ten fire-hydrants from First St. through U.S. 2 were painted!
